USA Table Tennis Partners with JOOLA
New Equipment Sponsor for US Team, US Open, and US Nationals

(January 4, 2012) - With table tennis on the rise, USA Table Tennis (USATT) has announced an official four-year partnership with veteran equipment manufacturer, JOOLA, naming the leading table tennis brand the Official Apparel Sponsor of the US National Team and the Official Table Sponsor of the US Open and US National Championships.

In recent years, the US Team has been transformed by a new generation of top-level players, with American juniors demonstrating remarkable potential and achieving impressive results both domestically and abroad.  “This is an exciting time for us.  We have a lot of promising players in the US and it gives me great pride that our national team will be wearing JOOLA at the 2012 Olympic Games in London,” says Richard Lee, CEO of JOOLA North America.  Just last month, JOOLA players secured the top two spots in both Men’s and Women’s Singles at the 2011 National Championships, reiterating the brand’s strong presence in top talent.

JOOLA is no stranger to large-scale events and has come to dominate the professional table tennis scene in America through its partnership with North American Table Tennis (NATT), an event management company specializing in running table tennis tournaments.  NATT’s North American Tour regularly accommodates 200 to 300 people on 30 JOOLA tables at each event and its flagship event, the North American Teams Championships, boasts nearly 1000 participants, playing on about 150 JOOLA tables.  Prior to its success in the US, JOOLA established itself internationally as the official table sponsor of three consecutive Olympic Games and numerous world competitions.
