USA Table Tennis is pleased to announce that Jasna Rather has been selected to serve as the Para Program Manager for 2012. Jasna was one of six applicants for the position. The interview panel consisted of Para athlete and member of the High Performance Committee, Pam Fontaine, High Performance Committee Chairman, Ross Brown, Para athlete and member of the USATT AAC and Para Development Task force, Andre Scott, Para National Team Coach, Daniel Rutenberg, USATT AAC Co-Chair, Ashu Jain and USATT High Performance Director, Doru Gheorghe.
Jasna is an Olympic Games Bronze Medalist in Women's Doubles (’88) and currently serves as the Head Coach of the Texas Wesleyan University Table Tennis program. She will conduct the business of the Para Program Manager position remotely from her home and will begin her duties right away.
