Tournament Time at Art of the Olympians Museum

By Caron & Marv Leff | Sept. 17, 2011, 4 p.m. (ET)
First tournament held at Art of the Olympians has major success written all over it.  The contestants and spectators alike are fired up with anxiety and pre-tournament jitters, replicating the atmosphere like any other type of great sporting event...getting ready to begin.  The environment was filled with excitement.  The players had their friends and family members ready for the tournament to start, so they could begin cheering for their favorite player.  The Museum with it's beautiful picturesque venue packed with enthusiastic people from the ages of 10 to 80 ready to watch and compete when their names were called.  It appeared to be the perfect storm for excitement both for competitors and spectators alike. Suffice it to say the competition was fierce and the event was a major success. Food and drink was provided by Downtown Pizza and was exceptional and we gratefully thank them for the quality and service they provided to all the hungry spectators and competitors. Norman Love supplied the delicious chocolates adding a sweetness from their factory.  Of course without the support of JJ Cochan from the museum none of this would be possible! And Finally a big Thank You to all who participated and those who made possible this spectacular event and introduction of Table Tennis to the Art of the Olympians Museum.  Keep your eyes peeled for our next Tournament as I'm sure there will be one soon.
