Timothy Wang and Ariel Hsing won singles titles at the U.S. National Table Tennis Championships, which concluded Saturday in Las Vegas. Wang swept Peter Li in the men’s final, 11-4, 11-2, 11-6, 11-4. Hsing, a 15-year-old, outlasted 14-year-old Lily Zhang, 11-7, 11-7, 10-12, 11-13, 11-4, 2-11, 11-9. Wang, the 10th seed, won three straight seven-game matches to reach the final. The five-day event hosted 743 of the nation’s top players and served as a selection tournament for the U.S. Junior and Cadet National Teams.
