Best Practices for Club Growth
How to increase your club membership? This is a question that is top of mind for all clubs of all sizes. Join us at the Best Practices for Club Growth seminar on Thursday, Sept 18th from 5:00 – 5:50 pm. You will hear from a panel of coaches who will share the best ideas that deliver membership growth. Traci Lunsford, our membership committee chair, will facilitate the panel format. Traci has an extensive, diverse and well-rounded background in marketing and communications with more than 25 years of experience. She has an MA: Psychology & Sociology of Sport, with a background in Sports Marketing & Event Management from The Ohio State University. Her background in our sport is also very impressive. She is an Alumnus from The Ohio State University and a past National Champion. Traci has held a number of coaching positions including the Head Coach of the Dutch National Team 1990, Head Coach of the Boulder Aquateens 2006-2009 and assistant coach for The Ohio State University 1988-89 and 1991. As the previous VP of Marketing and Member Services, Traci has served on our board and is an asset to the organization.
How to promote your club and our sport using Social Media. Anna Dietrich, our marketing committee chair, has a wealth of knowledge in this area that she will share with those attending the Social Media 101 seminar on Friday. Anna has over 6 years of brand management experience for many national brands. These include Goldfish and Milano, leaders in their category. In addition, she has an MBA from BU and a rich history with our sport. Anna is a past national team member and swam for The Ohio State University where she was a National Champion. She has also served on our board of directors.
