INDIANAPOLIS - USA Synchro announced its 2014 U.S. Senior National Squad Wednesday following a selection trial in Riverside, Calif.

The U.S. national squad, which will train in the Bay Area starting in January, is scheduled to compete in eight national and international meets next year.

The swimmers earning a spot on the 2014 U.S. Senior National Squad are:

Julie Fabre, France’s coach at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics, was named head coach. Fabre, who swam for the French national team for six years, helped lead France to a fifth-place team finish at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.

Most of the U.S. national-squad members competed for the U.S. Junior National Team in 2013, highlighted by a team gold medal and several individual medals at the UANA Pan American Championships in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in August.
