US 13 through 15 and 11 through 12 National Teams win gold at UANA Pan American Age Group Championships

INDIANAPOLIS – Members of the U.S.13-15 and 11-12 national synchronized 
swimming teams won gold in every event they entered at the 2012 UANA Pan American 
Age Group Championships in Cali, Colombia, Aug. 29- Sept. 2. 

For the 13-15 team, Elizabeth Wiita won figures with 69.8760 points. Olivia Ekberg
(67.3372) was second, Catalina Nedelcu (67.1124) was third and Joanna Langner
(66.6667) finished fifth. 

Also placing in figures were: 6. Elle Billman, 66.4574; 7. Ayla Stallworth, 66.1047; 9. 
Claire Wang, 65.4690; 14. Renee Zhang, 64.7132; 15. Deborah Sun, 64.5620; and 18. 
Jacklyn Luu, 64.3372. 

Ekberg won solo with 141.7497 points, and she teamed with Wiita (with alternate Wang) 
to win gold in duet at 143.3066. 

The U.S. 13-15 team also took home the High Point Trophy with 141.3607 points. 
For the 11-12 team, Julia St. John grabbed gold in figures with 67.3022 points, and she 
joined Ava Lichter to win duet at 135.0858. Nicole Dzurko won solo at 134.9100. 

Also placing in figures were: 2. Dzurko, 65.5600; 7. Lichter, 61.6444; 14. Anna Piskun
60.4533; 17. Lilly Cao, 60.1778.
