US national team to perform free exhibition before heading to Olympic qualification tournament

INDIANAPOLIS – The U.S. Olympic Synchronized Swimming Qualification Team will perform a free exhibition on Sunday, April 1, at 2 p.m. at the IU Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI.

This will be the team’s final exhibition in the U.S. before the Olympic Qualification Tournament on April 18-22 in London. Team USA will train at the National Aquatic Centre in Dublin in early April before heading to London, where it hopes to qualify for the Olympic Games in the team and duet competitions.

The team recently won two bronze medals at the Spanish Winter Open in Sabadell, Spain.

Masters swimmers Karla Yale and Carol Hall of Indy Aquatic Masters will also perform at the exhibition. The event is a fundraiser and donations are welcome.

Megan Hansley (New Canaan, Conn.), Mary Killman (McKinney, Texas), Maria Koroleva (Concord, Calif.), Michelle Moore (Tonawanda, N.Y.), Olivia Morgan (Lafayette, Calif.), Leah Pinette (Bristol, Conn.), Caitlin Stewart (Huntington Beach, Calif.), Michelle Theriault (North Hills, Calif.) and Alison Williams (Northridge, Calif.). Morgan Fuller (Sunnyvale, Calif.) is the alternate.
