US Synchronized Swimming 2012 US Olympic Trials Set To Begin
INDIANAPOLIS - The best synchronized swimmers in the country will compete at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials on Nov. 11-14 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C.
The nine swimmers nominated for the team will be announced on Tuesday, Nov. 15. The roster is subject to approval by the U.S. Olympic Committee and qualification for the Games by Team USA.

The U.S. team will compete in an Olympic Qualification Tournament in London on April 18-22, 2012, for a chance to qualify a berth in the team and duet competitions for the 2012 Olympic Games.
USA Synchro is coming off silver medal wins in team and duet at last month's Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico, under new coach Mayuko "Mayu" Fujiki. Mary Killman and Mariya Koroleva teamed up for the first time to earn their silver medal. Fourteen swimmers will advance on Saturday, with the nominations for the nine-member U.S. National Team and duet announced on Nov. 15. A performance by the team will follow.
The state-of-the-art Greensboro Aquatic Center (GAC) opened in August of 2011 and is located on the campus of the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. The 78,323 square-foot facility includes three bodies of water (competition pool, warm-up pool and diving well) and a seating capacity of more than 2,500.
