INDIANAPOLIS - Clark Synthesis, Inc., a Colorado-based (Littleton, Colo.) manufacturer of tactile sound products, has entered into a five-year agreement with United States Synchronized Swimming (USSS) to become the Official Sound System Supplier to USSS and the U.S. Synchronized Swimming National Team. Beginning Jan. 1, 2009, Clark Synthesis will provide sound systems, including its unique Aquasonic Underwater Speakers, to each of USSS' six national championships and to several international competitions over the next five years. Clark will also supply portable sound systems to each of USSS' National Teams that are training for international competition.

Since its beginning, Clark Synthesis has been manufacturing quality audio transducers and is the leader in tactile sound products. In 1995, Clark introduced the first full-frequency, full-fidelity underwater speaker that utilized tactile sound technology. Since then, Clark Synthesis' Aquasonic Underwater Speakers have been installed in numerous applications, including use in some of the world's premier hotels, resorts, and backyard pools. Clark Synthesis also sells products into several other markets, including Home Theater, Military and Flight Simulation, ProSound, and Outdoor Living.

According to Bill Phillips, President of Clark Synthesis, the relationship between USSS and Clark Synthesis is advantageous for both organizations. "Clark Synthesis has been delighting swimmers for 14 years. Now, we are honored to work with USSS to bring the superior sound of the Aquasonic underwater speaker to swim teams nationwide," says Phillips. "We are thankful for the opportunity to help coaches, teams, and swimmers perfect their craft in an environment where the swimmers don't just hear part of the music, but hear the full range of the music with clarity. We trust that this will make practices and meets more enjoyable for all participants."

"We had the opportunity to experience the quality of Clark Synthesis' product firsthand at one of our national championships this year, and it received rave reviews from the swimmers, coaches, and meet officials," said USSS Executive Director, Terry Harper. "We are very excited to be able to partner with Clark Synthesis to provide such high-quality sound for all of the athletes who compete in our national meets. And our three National Teams will have the benefit of high-quality training products as well as they prepare for world championships and the 2012 Olympic Games."
