SLOW PITCH PROGRAM HISTORY

Fifteen of the top slow pitch players in the country were chosen for the inaugural USA Softball Men’s Slow Pitch National Team, which competed in the 2009 Border Battle in Oklahoma City against Team Canada. The team captured a victory against the Canadians in 2009, before falling in 2010 with a score of 30-29. Team USA bounced back in 2011, run-ruling Canada 25-3 in four innings. The U.S. nabbed the Border Battle title again in 2012, coming from behind to claim Border Battle IV 32-21, including a 20-run fourth inning.
