TYJA Sports steps up as official uniform of USA Softball Men’s Slow Pitch program

OKLAHOMA CITY --- The Amateur Softball Association (ASA) and USA Softball, the National Governing Body of Softball in the United States, and TYJA Inc. of New York announced today the company will be the official uniform and apparel supplier of the USA Softball Men’s Slow Pitch National team program and the Canadian National Slow Pitch team this summer.

“ASA is excited to welcome TYJA to the USA Softball Slow Pitch family,” said ASA/USA Executive Director Ron Radigonda.  “Their dedication and energy towards this program and upcoming events is exceptional and we look forward to establishing a long term relationship with them for our men’s program.”

A new partnership and effort to assist in the Border Battle and Slow Pitch Showdown scheduled this July, TYJA will provide three teams (USA, USA Futures & Canada) with the official uniform with custom design to represent their respective countries.  In addition to uniforms, the partnership includes spirit wear for athletes who have recently been named to the teams and all items, including replica jerseys, will be available at the TYJA website http://www.tyjasports.com/ in the coming weeks.

TYJA is thrilled to partner with ASA and USA Softball on this prestigious project,” said Mark Weber, TYJA Chairman.   “Our goal is to provide a fresh new look to both Team USA and Team Canada that reflects their patriotism and will be worn with pride."

TYJA will also receive signage, marketing, and promotional opportunities at the Border Battle, World Cup and ASA Junior Olympic National Championships throughout the summer months. 

It will be “Slow Pitch” Thursday on July 11 in Oklahoma City with the Border Battle V match up kicking off at noon followed by the second annual Slow Pitch Showdown at 3 p.m. featuring USA vs. USA Futures.   Tickets are on sale now for the Border Battle V and the Slow Pitch Showdown at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City.
