Futures Cup to be held during the World Cup of Softball
OKLAHOMA CITY --- The Amateur Softball Association and USA Softball, the National Governing Body of Softball in the United States, announced today it will host the inaugural Futures Cup of Softball during the World Cup of Softball, scheduled to be held in Oklahoma City July 11-14 at ASA Hall of Fame Complex.
“We are thrilled to launch this youth tournament during the World Cup event this year,” said Ron Radigonda, ASA/USA Softball Executive Director. “This will be another great way to showcase our OKC venue to youth teams while also exposing them to the international game and the best teams in the World.”
This first-time event will accept the first paid 16 teams in each division: 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U. In addition to play at the ASA Hall of Fame Complex, ASA will also utilize Wild Horse Park in Mustang, Okla. as a secondary facility during the tournament.

Come and experience the best of both worlds by competing at the ASA Hall of Fame Complex and enjoying the games of the World Cup VIII, which features the top four teams in the World with No. 1 Japan, No. 2 USA, No. 3 Australia, No. 4.Canada and Puerto Rico.
Participating athletes will receive free admission to the international games when in uniform with their wrist band (provided at team check-in). An optional World Cup VIII gate fee of $350.00 is available for teams that includes 30 All-Session General Admission tickets for parents and fans of teams entered in the tournament. Additional All-Session General Admission tickets can be purchased at a discounted rate through the Tournament Director, Chris Sebren, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Daily General Admission tickets can be purchased at $10.00 per day.
