Tickets now available for KFC World Cup of Softball

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The Amateur Softball Association announced that advance pre-sale tickets are now available for the KFC World Cup of Softball scheduled for July 12-16, 2007 at ASA Don E. Porter Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City, Okla. This world-class event will once again feature some of the best international softball teams in the world.
In 2006, over 25,000 fans attended the five-day event where the USA reclaimed the World Cup from Japan in dominating fashion. Fans from over 30 different states visited Oklahoma City with over $1 million generated in economic impact. The event was televised in over 20 different countries and watched by over six million U.S. households.
The advanced pre-sale includes all-session tickets only. All-session premium reserved seats are available for $100, all-session grandstand reserved seats are $50 and all-session general admission seats are available for $30. The all-session tickets include a minimum of 15 games and specific seats in the reserved section will be assigned at a later date.
Individual session tickets will be available at a later date.
There are approximately 1,000 premium reserved tickets available and seating assignment requests will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be approximately 1,500 grandstand reserved tickets available as well.
Fans can also purchase the Ultimate Fan package which includes an all-session reserved seat in the premier section of the stadium, a personalized replica jersey and dinner with Team USA as well as an autograph session with the team. The Ultimate Fan Package can be purchased for only $250.
A schedule for the III World Cup of Softball will be released in early Spring 2007 and is expected to include the top five teams in the world including Canada, China, Australia, Japan, the European Qualifier, a South American/Latin America Qualifier and the United States.
