Support the NYC 2012 Olympic Bid! Bring the Olympic Games to the U.S.!

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. --- In July of 2005, the International Olympic Committee will meet in Singapore to vote for the host city of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the United States very own New York City is one of the top finalists. New York's passion for sport is contagious. The excitement of the Games would be amplified on New York's unforgettable stage. The bid committee has been making New York's case around the world. It’s time to help keep the campaign going in New York and continue the momentum. In Berlin, Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Deputy Mayor and NYC2012 Founder Daniel Doctoroff made a pivotal presentation to a major meeting of Olympic sports leaders. Once again, press reports from Berlin indicated that New York and London made the best presentations.  But in order for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games to come to New York, help is needed!
Recently a petition launched in support of the Bid and the Olympic Stadium. Six thousand supporters have already signed the petition - a tremendous initial response. We need you to grow our team of Olympic supporters-please urge your friends, family and co-workers to join us in bringing the Games to New York. Send them this link and tell them that New York cannot win without their support.
With just one approval remaining, we are closer than ever to fulfilling the commitment that Governor Pataki and Mayor Bloomberg made to the IOC Evaluation Commission when they visited NYC in February that the Olympic Stadium project would be fully approved on schedule before the IOC vote. The final approval could come in the next few weeks, but it will not happen without your help.
