What the coach has to say:

MeKenna or Vishous Kitty has been around roller derby since her Mom started to play in 2010. She started skating with her current league in September of 2012. She is a wicked fast jammer and a great blocker.  MeKenna has mad skills and has taken classes with Smarty Pants, Dirty Debra Harry and Baretta Lynch. She is a true leader on and off her skates. MeKenna helps other players without hesitation and is very positive despite being a fierce competitor. She is smaller in size but don’t let that fool you! She just completed the 5th grade with all A+ grades and will be heading to the local middle school in August. Mekenna also plays the drums in her school’s band and was chosen to represent her school in an honor band program. Besides roller derby she runs track, cross country, plays volleyball, and does cheer. She traveled to Indiana last year for Jr Conn and is heading to Florida this year to participate. MeKenna would like to go to school to be a Veterinarian but also has her sights on roller derby in the Olympics.
