Jan 15 Bart Swings potential IWGA Athlete of the Year

We are very glad and proud to announce that the International World Games Association IWGA has selected Bart Swings to be included in the list as a potential Athlete of the Year.

From January 6 to 31, 2014, supporters and friends can cast an online vote for the top athlete and top team of the last year. Ten excelling participants of The World Games 2013 in Cali have been shortlisted.

During the World Games he won two gold medals (10,000m and 20,000m elimination race) plus one silver and one bronze medal. Later in the season he won the speed skating marathon in Berlin (59:28) and he set a new record during the World Speed Skating Championships in Oostende (1000 m - 1.20.923).

We kindly ask you to support this online voting and to spread the word to all your athletes and supporters.

This is a great opportunity for Roller Sports, in terms of promotion and popularity.

The winning of the award by one of our athletes would help Roller Sports increasing global recognition.

The voting closes on January 31. Afterwards IWGA will announce the winners and ranking and launch a press release. The winners will be awarded a trophy.
