Rolling on Route 66

July 17, 2013

Albuquerque, N.M. – Champions are made when the stands are empty, but the Albuquerque Convention Center’s stands were full when the hard work paid off for two inline speed skating brothers from Georgia. Jonathan Blair (World Class division) and Jimmy Blair (Grand Classic division) were crowned overall inline speed skating national champions at the 2013 Inline Speed Skating National Championships.

The Blairs skated their way through a series of races to become the fastest indoor inline speed skaters in the country for 2013. What is better than two brothers becoming national champions on the same night? Becoming overall national champions with their father and coach right by their side! Mr. Blair was one proud coach and father last night. Mr. Blair has had a successful coaching career and it just seems to keep getting better. Congratulations to Jonathan, Jimmy and Mr. Blair!
