Hanna, BoteroTEAM BOTERO SPORT SPEED COACH, JOE HANNA ADDED TO THE REGIONAL-CLINIC COACH LIST

Lincoln, Neb. – Joe Hanna, Team Botero Sport coach, was added to the list of regional-clinic coaches.

The mission of regional clinics (level one clinics) is to introduce speed skaters to training and competing on a 200-meter outdoor flat track in a controlled and safe environment. Regional clinics give skaters the opportunity to qualify for the Banked Track National Championships that are currently held in Colorado Springs, Colo. each year. If skaters meet qualifying times while at the regional clinic, they can then move on to the final qualification which is held at the Olympic Training Center prior to the Banked Track National Championships.

Regional clinics also establish a process for coaches to learn and teach the basic skills associated with international competition while providing an avenue of progression for coaches within the outdoor program.

Hanna, BoteroMore coaches will be added to the regional-clinic coach list as they become authorized by the Speed Committee. If you are a USA Roller Sports coach that is interested in being considered for the regional-clinic program, please send a resume and letter of intent to rporter@usarollersports.org

USA Roller Sports is recognized by the Federation Internationale de Roller Sports (FIRS) and the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) as the national governing body of competitive roller sports in the United States.
