The 2012 Road National Championships and Team USA Trials

Return to Pikes Peak International Raceway


Lincoln, Neb. (May 29, 2012) - USA Roller Sports (USARS) announced today its selection of Pikes Peak International Raceway (PPIR) for the road portion of its 2012 Outdoor National Championships and Team USA Trials. PPIR is a premier motorsports facility located in Fountain, Colo., just minutes from Colorado Springs. The road portion of the event follows the track portion, hosted at the United States Olympic Training Center.

Juvenile, freshman and masters competitors will compete for the title of outdoor national champion in various distances. Junior and senior competitors will compete for the title of outdoor national champion in various distances while also competing for a position on the 2012 FIRS World Speed Skating Championship Team.

The championships will take place August 1-10, 2012. The road portion at PPIR will be August 7-10, 2012.

August 1, 2, 3              Practice

August 4, 5, 6              Banked Track Championships (U.S. Olympic Training Center)

August 7                      Road Practice and Rain Day for Track Events

August 8, 9                  Road Championships (Pikes Peak International Raceway)

August 10                    Rain Day for Road Events
