Get ready to see fishnets, hot pants and some hard-hitting roller derby girls.

The Beckley Area Derby Dames (BADD), Beckley’s first and only flat track roller derby team, is gearing up for their first home bout Sunday, June 3, at the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center.

They’ll be lacing up their skates, pulling up their fishnets and showing Beckley what roller derby girls are really made of as they face off against the Morgantown Roller Vixens.

“Be ready for non-stop action,” BADD President Yulanda Wiseman, aka Yula B. Hurtin, said.
