Lyn Carden AKA Jane Bondage is the founder, president, and coach of the Denali Destroyer Dolls in Wasilla Alaska. Lyn is the backbone of the organization and has prepared a 3, 5, 7 and 10 year business plan for the Denali Destroyer Dolls. She started DDD in July of 2010. They have recently completed their second bout and are preparing for their third. In less than two short years, Jane Bondage has pushed roller derby in the area over the top with her true leadership and community outreach. She takes care of all of the skaters like her own children. Lyn scours derby coaches’ forums and is always looking for opportunities to share derby love in Alaska.

When did you begin skating: As a child back in the stone age when wheels were just carved 

Fondest memory of skating:  The first time one of our DOLLS took the track. I still tear up when I think about it.

Future goals you hope to obtain as a skater: To be as juky as possible and be a well informed coach

Who is the person you most admire/greatest influence in your life and why: I admire my mother & father. They have given me a great foundation to be me and know that I am loved at the end of the day. Every day no matter what!

What makes you a unique and special person: I believe that nothing is impossible because IM POSSIBLE

Favorite place to shop: on line (every day at my desk when I am working..shh)

Most prized possession: My grand kids (and little pistol the Canadians took from me) 

If you could pick one word to describe you, what would it be: Dynamic

Anything else you would like us to know about you: I love my life and the people in it. It has taken me down some pretty crazy roads and I enjoy each and every turn with who ever is on my path for better or worse. Oh and I wish I had been a cowboy  I mean cowgirl!
