USARS Regional Derby Tournaments Update
USA Roller Sports is pleased to announce some important updates in regards to the 2012 USARS Regional Tournaments.
Each participating team will have the opportunity to play a minimum of 2 games during each one of the tournaments regardless of the tournament structure defined by each region. “One of our goals is to give as much game time as possible to every participating skater, referee and NSO. This will help all of them get more comfortable with the USARS rule set and also raise the level of play for all the teams in the tournaments. Most teams will get to play three or four games during the weekend of the Tournament” said Danielle Fairbanks, USARS Roller Derby Director.
Teams located in states that do not belong to one of the six tournament regions below will have the opportunity to participate in any region of their choice. This structure will offer these teams a great level of flexibility and exposure to other regions.
Additional details about the tournament structure will be released after all submitted applications are reviewed and the participating teams are selected.
