Nov. 26, 2011, 10:31 p.m. (ET)

On Sunday, November 20, 2011 the Aurora 88’s Glamazons took on Hard Core Corruption at the Aurora Skate Center in Aurora, Illinois.  The beginning of the bout was a tight contest, and HCC managed to pull ahead for a short time.  By half-time the Glamazons were once again in the lead, with a score of 43 to 36.  The Glamazons dominated in defense, making the HCC’s jammers work hard for their money.  HCC captain Ella Va Dozzzer was removed from the bout early in the second half with a knee injury.  In her absence, the Glamazons continued to pull ahead for the remainder of the game for a final score of 104 to 66.

A portion of the league proceeds will be donated to the Hesed House in Aurora, a national model for ending homelessness in America.

This bout leaves the victorious Glamazons with one win and one loss so far this season.  HCC is 0-2, and the Divas de las Muertas are undefeated.  The Divas will face off against the Glamazons January 15th at the Aurora Skate Center where they will either continue their streak and remain undefeated, or the Glamazons will even the score.
