In Memory of Frederick J. Doyle
BELLINGHAM- Frederick J. "Fred" Doyle, 74, of Bellingham, MA, passed away peacefully at home Monday, Dec. 28, 2009 with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband for 49 years of Nancy E. (Cass) Doyle.
Born in Dedham, MA on July 17, 1935, he was the son of the late Walter and Edith (Craven) Doyle. He was the loving father of Karen L. Warfield and her husband, Glenn, of West Warwick, RI and Lisa E. Surrette and her husband, Richard, of Bellingham, MA; three grandchildren, Alyssa, Lexie and Taylin Surrette.
He was the brother of Walter A. Doyle of Chattanooga, TN, Leo G. Doyle of Sanford, FL, John T. Doyle of Foxboro, MA and the late William and Robert Doyle.
A resident of Bellingham for 15 years, formerly of Foxboro, he owned the Crafty King in Milford for 20 years until retiring. He proudly served in the United States Air Force during Post Korea and Vietnam Wars and received the Good Conduct Medal. Fred was an avid cribbage player and a national roller skating champion with his wife. He was devoted to his family and will be greatly missed.
Visiting hours are on Saturday, January 2 from 2 to 5PM at CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
