Past Executive Officer of RSROA, USARS, National Museum of Roller Skating, US Foundation of Amateur Roller Skating

Gleaned from the archives of the National Museum of Roller Skating, this book is intended to preserve appreciation for the giants of our sport whose past contributions have combined to create the recreation, sport and industry of roller skating as we know it. With this collection of historical events and profiles, we seek to identify and briefly describe the work of those who were the architects, the sculptors, the innovators, the preservers and role models that shaped this roller skating inheritance.
An organization can only be as good as its leaders. In a recreational business environment, populated by entrepreneurial types, rink owners frequently prefer marching to their own drum beat. Starting during the adverse conditions of 1937, in the throes of the Great Depression, the organizers of the RSROA found common cause.

CONTAINS PERSONAL PROFILES OF:
15 - ORGANIZATIONAL TITANS
16 - INDUSTRY HEROES
