Candidate Solicitation Procedure
Candidates are being sought to fill the three upcoming vacancies
We are currently seeking individuals to serve as USAR Board members. The Board should ideally reflect the diversity of our members, including experience (both life and business), geographic, gender, age and ethnicity. Potential candidates should possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), passion for the sport, and the time to be very involved, well beyond two face-to-face meetings and a few conference calls a year (e.g. committee work). Specific experience in marketing, fundraising, public relations, finance and technology a strong preference. Potential Board member should be willing to be directly involved in fundraising activities, be Citizens of the United States who are at least 18 years of age and maintain a current USAR membership.

*Please include a picture (head shot) and a statement in 200 words or less “Why I want to serve on the USAR Board of Directors”
Any current member of USA Racquetball in good standing who is a US citizen over the age of 18 may run for the Board of Directors by completing an official Board Petition that requires the signatures of 200 current USAR members over the age of 18 who request that the individual be added to the slate of Board candidates. Petitioners must request and obtain official forms from the USAR national office or download a PDF from the website. Completed original petitions must be received in the USAR National office no later than February 28, (see form for details) or an alternate date as provided by the Election Committee.
