Youth World Championships: Anderson shines

The United States sent four boys and four girls to the Youth World Championships in Budapest, Hungary.  Brendan Anderson qualified for the final, finishing second in his semi final heat with a first place finish in the fence and a 2:04 200 meter freestyle.  Seamus Millet and Luke Shereston were 27th and 30th respectively in their heat. Samuel Felix finished in a solid 25th. 

In the girls' semi-finals, Natalie Bowman finished 12th in her heat, nearly qualifying for the final.  Jordan McCurdy and Katie Penvose finished 15th and 16th respectively, with Monet Moreau coming in at 27th.  Hats off to everyone that competed.  Natalie and Katie also finished seventh in the girls' relay.
