Nathan Schrimsher Qualifies for Junior World Championship Finals

Army PFC Nathan Schrimsher, Roswell, NM competing in Szekesfehervar, Hungary had a strong performance across the board and qualified for the finals of the Modern Pentathlon Junior World Championships with a 13th place finish in the qualifying round. Nathan is the United States Junior and Senior National Champion and is a member of the military World Class Athlete Program.

Brendan Anderson, Colorado Springs, CO with a good competition finished 24th and did not make the finals. Brendan is the youngest competitor in the championships, is still a Youth athlete competing in an older age group and will be traveling to Wuhan, China next month to compete in the Youth World Championships.

This weekend will see Team USA in action on Saturday with Isabella Isaksen, Colorado Springs, CO competing in the women’s final and Nathan in the men’s final on Sunday. Results of the qualifications can be found below with Nathan and Brendan both competing in group B.
