Monica Fling-Rowland re-elected as USAP Athlete Advisory Council Representative
Former World-Class athlete, Monica Fling-Rowland has been re-elected as the USAP representative to the USOC's athlete advisory council for the 2013-2016 quadrennial. 2008 Olympian Eli Bremmer was elected as her alternate.
Rowland had an accomplished career as a Pentathlete and then has given back to her sport by serving as the USAP AAC rep from 2008 to 2012. The role of the Athletes Advisory Council at the USOC level is to represent the interests of athletes on those issues affecting competing athletes. Within USA Pentathlon, the AAC rep advocates on behalf of competing athletes to ensure fairness in policies and procedures.
