USA Pentathlon and the United States Olympic Training Center announce the 2012 Pentathlon Olympic Development Camps (ODC). U.S. National Coaches and elite-level athletes will provide instruction to beginner and intermediate level Pentathletes at the National Pentathlon Training venues located on the U.S. Olympic Training Center Complex in scenic Colorado Springs, Colorado. Campers will have the opportunity to watch Team USA Olympians prepare for the London Games as well as participate in training sessions themselves in all 5 disciplines* under the supervision of U.S. National Coach and Olympic Champion Janusz Peciak and world-renown High Performance Director Genadijus Sokolovas.
* Four disciplines will take place at the OTC, riding will be for those athletes interested at an extra cost of $25 per ride. Equestrian practice will take place at M&M Stables nearby. Local transportation provided.

Janusz Peciak - World and Olympic Champion. Current head coach of the U.S. National Pentathlon Team and a London 2012 Olympic Games Nominee.
Genadijus Sokolovas - USAP High Performance Director and London Olympic Games Team Leader. Known as Dr. "G", Genadijus has worked with virtually every current USA swimming star including Michael Phelps and Natalie Coughlin. Dr. "G" is a former world-class Pentathlete and holds a Phd. in exercise physiology.
Rob Stull - USA Pentathlon Managing Director, three-time USA Olympian in Pentathlon and Fencing.
Tracey Powers - USA Pentathlon Resident Team Equestrian Coach.

ODC #1 - June 6 to 10, Training camp and Youth and Junior regional competition.

ODC#2 - July 2 to 9, Training camp and Youth National Championships and Junior Final Selection

$95 per person, per day.

Accompanying Guests and Youngsters
Parents of athletes may attend based on space availability. Cost is $60 per person per day and includes registration transfers, lodging (double and triple occupancy) and all meals and training venue access. All ODC camp participants must be at least 12 years old.
What to Bring:
All athletes are encouraged to bring training equipment for all 5 disciplines.
1. Complete fencing uniform, mask and epees (3).
2. Running shorts, tops and shoes ( no spikes required).
3. Swimming suit and goggles.
4. A pellet or laser pistol ( pistols may be available for those without, inquire at registration).
5. Riding britches, hard-soled shoe and hard-hat for those athletes choosing to ride.
6. Casual Clothes.
7. Sweatshirt and sweat pants. Rain gear.
9. Campers must be members of USA Pentathlon to participate.
