Athletes, coaches and staff from 17 nations finish altitude training programs as teams prepare to leave the U.S. Olympic Training Center and join over 20 other nations in Charlotte, North Carolina, the host city for the first World Cup of the Olympic year. For three weeks nearly 100 pentathletes were hosted by USA Pentathlon and the US Olympic Committee to hone their skills in preparation for what promises to be the largest pentathlon event ever hosted in the western hemisphere. Athletes renewed old friendships and made new ones during their stay in Colorado Springs as they attended the largest international pentathlon camp ever held. This training experience shared by so many different cultures, renewed our faith in the power of the Olympic movement. See you in Charlotte !
