USA Pentathlon invites beginner and novice Pentathletes interested in developing and refining their skills; or simply learning more about the sport, to participate in the USA Pentathlon Olympic Development Camp to be held at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, October 26-30, 2011.

Athletes will have the opportunity experience the U.S. Olympic Training Center first-hand while learning from some of the best coaches and High Performance staff in the world. Each day will offer a full day of instruction in fencing, laser shooting, swimming and running. Meals and snacks will be provided by the culinary staff and dieticians of the U.S. Olympic Training Center. Riding instruction will be limited in order to focus on the fencing and shooting disciplines. Classroom sessions as well as regular training sessions will be offered daily and lodging will be in the dormitories of the Training Center, home to many of our nation’s best athletes.  

The camp will be led by Dr. Genadijus Sokolovas, USAP high performance director and Janusz Peciak, Olympic Gold medalist in Modern Pentathlon.
