What's New in Modern Pentathlon - June 17

Anna Olesinski placed fourth in the combined run/shoot event and 11th in fencing, earning her a ninth-place overall finish at the Modern Pentathlon Youth A World Championships in Uppsala, Sweden. She was the highest U.S. finisher, with 3,844 points. Ryan Anderson was the highest U.S. men’s finisher, in 74th place. Olesinski also teamed with Samantha Achterberg and McKenzie West to score 2,864 points, placing 11th in the women’s relay portion of the championships. The U.S. men’s team (Anderson, Cory Cranford, Andrew Wiggins) placed 16th.
