The 2010 Youth A World Championships get underway on Wednesday in Uppsala, Sweden. Six U.S. athletes will be competing in the event that concludes on Sunday.
American competitors include

Cory Cranford (Morrison, Colo.),
The head coach of the U.S. contingent is
Jan Olesinski (Roswell, N.M.) who coaches at the New Mexico Military Institute. Olesinski is a highly decorated, former world-class pentathlete from Poland who coaches Youth Olympic Games qualifier
Nathan Schrimser (Roswell, N.M.) as well as his daughter Anna, who recently finished second overall in the combined event at the senior World Cup in Berlin, Germany.
