COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Will Brady (Howell, Mich.) can add a new title to his name,National Champion. 
 
Brady, who spent much of the day in fifth place, came from behind to edge former Olympians Sam Sacksen (Somerset, PA) and Eli Bremer (Monument, Colo.) to win the National Championship in Modern Pentathlon.
 
“I’ve been training hard, my training made the difference for me,” said Brady after improving from a second place finish last year.
 
Returning to the podium was Bremer who earned silver and last year’s defending champion Dennis Bowsher (Dallas, Texas) who took home the bronze.
 
“Shooting was a little disappointing for me today, but I’m confident that my swim and run can get better in time for Worlds in September,” said Bowsher.
 
Siblings Nathan Schrimsher and Lucas Schrimsher (Roswell, N.M) placed sixth and seventh respectively. Eighteen-year-old Nathan will represent the United States at the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore next month.
 
“I feel good with how I did today, it is good preparation for Singapore, I’m honored to representthe United States (at the Youth Olympic Games)” Schrimsher said.
