The USA Pentathlon Senior National Team has arrived in Budapest, Hungary for a three week European junket which will also include Warsaw and Rome as the spring World Cup season winds up. Dennis Bowsher, Will Brady, Eli Bremer, and Sam Sacksen will be competing in the semi-final qualification rounds of World Cup 3 to be held at the Budapest Olympics Centre starting this Friday, May 8. The finals competition will be contested beginning at 9 am CET on Sunday, May 10.
Youth A World Champion (2008) and Beijing Olympian Margaux Isaksen will head for Hungary on May 12 to compete in the Women's World Cup 3 which is being held in Székesfehérvár, Hungary. She will compete in the qualification round on Thursday, May 14. The field of thirty-six finalists will kick off their first round of fencing at 9 am local Budapest time (CET) on Saturday, May 16.

Pentathlon head coach, Janusz Peciak will be at the helm for both competitions. After concluding the World Cup in Hungary, the team will reassemble in Warsaw, Poland for a week long pentathlon training camp where they will have the opportunity to utilize the facilities and train with the Polish National pentathlon team.
The final World Cup of the 2009 season will be held in Rome, Italy. Peciak will accompany Bowsher, Brady, Isaksen, and Sacksen to Rome for first semi-final which will have the men competing on Thursday, May 21. The women's qualification round is on Friday. The finals will be contested on the weekend, with the men's final on Saturday and the women's final on Sunday.
The UIPM will continue their coverage of the World Cup Series by airing live internet streaming broadcasts of the top eighteen riders in the equestrian event as well as the entire coverage of the combined running and shooting event.
