Falcon Physical Therapy has partnered with USA Judo to become the Official Physical Therapy group for

USA Judo. The group provides services that will assist athletes with preventing, managing, and rehabilitating injuries related to judo and the advanced training that is required in the sport. The goal of Falcon Physical Therapy is to help athletes to return to their optimum performance level as quickly and safely as possible after an injury.

Falcon Physical Therapy will serve in a variety of roles in this partnership. Athletes training at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs will have the benefit of having athletic trainers serve mat side during regularly scheduled practices. Athletes may also seek treatment at one of the five clinics on the front range.

Physical therapist and athletic trainers with Falcon Physical Therapy will also work at some of the upcoming national and international events hosted within and outside of the United States. The therapy group has regularly performed this duty at events in the past.

The group provides an elite group of therapists and athletic trainers that are skilled in treating a wide array of athletes including National Football League (NFL) players, collegiate teams, youth sports and Olympic sports. The organization’s staff will work closely with USA Judo’s sports medicine, high performance and tournament personnel at national events, camps and at regularly scheduled practices in Colorado Springs.

“We are so pleased to OFFICIALLY partner with USA Judo. Our entire staff has always been close to the athletes. We have watched them develop and grow over the years. We look forward to a long and continued relationship with USA Judo. We have always believed that we have skills to help our community that has served us and it is our duty to utilize them” state Beth MacDonald, Owner/CFO, Falcon Physical Therapy.

Colorado-based Falcon Physical Therapy has also sponsored and employed several USA Judo athletes such as #1 ranked, 63 kilogram player, Christal Ransom and 66 kilogram player; Toshiya Nishimura.
