Colorado Springs, CO ‒ USA Judo has announced an exciting new partnership with the Ultimate Fighting Championship® (UFC®) to increase awareness and promote the sport of judo throughout the United States. The one-year renewable agreement between the two organizations will make USA Judo an official partner of the UFC.
The partnership will include a new advertising campaign featuring two-time Judo Olympian Travis Stevens appearing in UFC 360, the premier publication for combat sports and mixed martial arts. The UFC will also integrate USA Judo into its social channels on Twitter and Facebook, UFC.com, and in other prominent, high visibility areas to promote the sport and reach new audiences.
"We are delighted to partner with one of the fastest growing sports organizations in the world,”
said Lance Nading, President of USA Judo. “UFC played a tremendous role in promoting martial arts world-wide. Following the success of our athletes in London 2012 Games, it is absolutely essential that we continue to build awareness around Judo, and UFC is devoted to help us in our efforts."
With the combination of broadcast, live event, in-venue, digital and additional assets, USA Judo is expected to reach millions of people through UFC channels.
