USA Judo’s Hall of Fame now has a webpage with photos and short profiles on all our inductees. Categories include athletes, coaches and distinguished Americans.

Among the athletes are Jim Bregman, the first U.S. judoka to win a medal at the Olympic Games; Olympic bronze medalist Eddie Liddie, USA Judo’s current Director of High Performance; and two-time Olympic bronze medalist Jimmy Pedro, coach of the historic  2012 U.S. Olympic Judo Team.
Distinguished Americans include Ben Nighthorse Campbell, who became a member of the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate after competing on the first U.S. Olympic Judo team in 1964.

One coach is included in the Hall of Fame, Yoshihiro “Yosh” Uchida, founder and head Sensei of San Jose State University Judo, one of the biggest producers of Olympians and other elites in the nation. Go to HALL OF FAME.
