Only the very best judoka in the world can fight in USA Judo’s Grand Prix Miami, June 15-16, but there is a judo camp following the tournament and an educational program preceding the elite competition for kids and juniors.

The really cool thing for those attending those special events is that both will be led by U.S. Olympians and Cuban World Champions, an incredible opportunity for young people.

Judo Camp for Kids

Florida Judo Inc. is collaborating with USA Judo to host a free camp for USA Judo youth members following the tournament that will parallel a training camp that is strictly for elites.

Just like the elite camp, this judo camp for kids will be led by Cuban World Champions Amarilis Savon and Daima Beltran, June 17-19, 1 - 3 pm. Florida residents interested in having their kids attend should contact Dr. Ricardo Menendez, president of Florida Judo Inc., at
