Two wildcard slots for two of USA Judo’s junior world teams are up for grabs, or grips, at the Junior Olympic Championships next month in Irving, Texas.
The rosters for the U.S. Junior World Team and U.S. Cadet World Team were nearly completed at USA Judo’s Scholastic National Championships in March in Miami.
Scheduled for June 28-30, the Junior Olympic Championships is a super popular tournament and the entry of two wildcard slots can only ramp up the competition and the number of athletes hunting for a spot on one of the world teams.
