Mar 18 International Competition Opportunity For Boys Born Between 2000-2002

INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION OPPORTUNITY FOR BOYS BORN 2000 - 2002!!!!!

We are happy to announce a Boys' tournament and training opportunity in Moscow at the end of April.

This event will feature an individual competition on the first day and Team competition on the second day.

The age group includes birth years 2000, 2001 and 2002.

Weight divisions for individual competition:

- 30kg. -32kg. -35kg. -38kg. -42kg. -46kg. -50kg. -55kg. -60kg. +60kg

Weight divisions for the Team competition:

-30kg. -35kg. -38kg. -42kg. -46kg. -50kg. -55kg. 60kg

The Prizes for the Team Competition will be:

(1st Place - 1000 Euro, 2nd Place - 700 Euro, 3rd Place - 500 Euro).

Athletes MUST be accompanied by parent or responsible adult.

Schedule:

April 24 - Departure from US
April 25 - Arrival in Moscow, possible training in evening
April 26 - Registration for the event; pre-event training, weight check (also acclimation day for jet lag)
April 27 - Individual competition (start at 11am.)
April 28 - Team tournament, and after lunch at 2pm. excursion to the Moscow Center City.
April 29 – Departure

 

Russian Visa: If we have more than 15 working days before departure:

15 or more working days: $250.00 + USPS express mail expenses
        5 working days: $350.00 + FedEx overnight mail expenses

Deadline for Visa: one week, based on the 5 working days visa expense

ELIGIBILITY:

  1. Must be a MALE athlete born 2000-2002.
  2. Must be a current member of USA Judo.
  3. Must be a citizen of the United States.
  4. Must have competed at a USA Judo National Junior event within the past year, or be currently listed on the USA Judo Elite Athlete Roster for your age.

In the event that more than one athlete replies in a division, selection will be based on highest current roster position. In case of a tie, the USA Judo tie-breaking criteria will be applied and any continuing tie will be resolved by Junior Committee vote.
