As part of their training for the upcoming Panams, 17 athletes from Ecuador have arrived in Florida to train at Ki-itsu-Sai, the USA Judo National Training Center. The athletes will be at the training center located in Pembroke Pines, Florida for two weeks.
The Ecuadorian athletes are excited to be training in U.S. soil.
This is not the first time that USA Judo welcomes a team from a Latin America country. In the past USA Judo hosted athletes from Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Cuba.
These exchanges are a win-win for both the host country and the visitor country as it helps the development of our sport in the region.
