In judo, the line between Paralympic and Olympic competition is far less dramatic than in many other sports. Our athletes are among the finest on the mats, visually impaired or fully sighted. That was never so evident as it was at the Paralympic Games in London where Myles Porter and Dartanyon Crockett took silver and bronze medals respectively with exemplary power and skill. Like their Olympic teammates, they demonstrated ‘the possible’ for our country in judo and opened the door for younger generations. We look forward to their continued presence and return to the Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro 2016.
