Look For Your Favorite Judoka!

Senior National Draws Now Online

Draws for USA Judo’s Senior National Championships in Virginia Beach, VA, have been completed and are now available online, setting the stage for competition to begin bright and early tomorrow morning and Sunday. Go to DRAWS.

See who your favorite judoka is lined up to fight first in the brackets:

In the women’s 78 kg division, a judoka could find herself across the mat from none other than Kayla Harrison (USA Judo National Training Site, Pedro’s Judo Center/NYAC, Wakefield, Mass.). Harrison took the nation’s first Olympic gold medal at the Games in London last summer.

And if you happen to be testing your mettle at 81 kg … look out! That’s Travis Stevens’ division. A two-time Olympian, Stevens (USA Judo Training Site, Pedro’s Judo Center/NYAC, Wakefield, Mass.) finished 5th at the Games in London.

Also scan the brackets for Myles Porter, 100 kg, and Dartanyon Crockett, 90 kg both from the USA Judo Training Site at the Olympic Training Center, CO. They took silver and bronze respectively at the Paralympic Games in London immediately following the Olympics. Both are fighting in fully sighted (able bodied) divisions at the Senior National Championships.

Competition starts tomorrow! Watch for updates, photos and results at WWW.USJUDO.ORG and on Facebook.
