Rodriguez and Delgado to Compete at Vienna World Cup This Weekend

(Colorado Springs, Colo.) - Jeanette Rodriguez (Davie, Fla.) and Angelica Delgado (Miami, Fla.), both of the USA Judo National Training Site at North Miami, will each compete in her first World Cup competition of the season on Saturday in Vienna, Austria.

Rodriguez, a former Pan American Games bronze medalist in the 48kg division, competed earlier this month in Belgium where she won a bronze medal in the under-20 division at the Belgian Ladies' Open as a 52kg player. 

Just two weeks later, Rodriguez will be competing in her first A-Level tournament at the new weight. 

The top-ranked senior player in the 57kg division, Delgado also competed in Belgium, but her last top-three placing in Europe was in November at the Senior B-Level Finnish Open where both she and Rodriguez earned bronze medals.

Competition schedule is as follows:

Saturday February 14
Women's 48kg, 52kg, 57kg, 63kg

Sunday February 15
Women's 70kg, 78kg and +78kg
