Oct. 20, 2008, 5:41 p.m. (ET)

Pedro's Judo Center held its annual Halloween party in Wakefield, Mass. on Friday.  This family tradition is a community service that owner and World Champion Jimmy Pedro and his wife Marie offer to the community as a safe and fun way to celebrate in a judo environment.

The party also offers a chance for members of the local community to interact with National Champions and Olympians.  The event included pony rides, carnival games, face painting, a haunted hallway, superhero show, costume contest and trick or treating.

Pedro's Judo Center boasts more than 200 students and most of them were in attendance dressed to impress.

PJC also had police officer Mark Falco - a black belt and husband to Jimmy's sister Tanya - end the night with a talk about Halloween safety for the kids.

Team FORCE members Dan McCormick, Kayla Harrison, Aaron Kunihiro, Bobby Lee and Aaron Handy all were volunteering their help at the event.
