BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Mr. Berlin is currently Senior Vice President, Player Affairs for the PGA TOUR. In that capacity, Mr. Berlin is responsible for headquarters-to-player communication, player education and governance. His personal relationships with men’s professional golfers and key industry executives are critical assets for USA GOLF. Prior to his current role, Mr. Berlin has served in a variety of roles at the PGA TOUR. He has also worked as a sports management agent and an event management consultant.
JOHN BODENHAMER (Co-Chair)
Mr. Bodenhamer is Senior Managing Director, Rules, Competitions & Amateur Status for the United States Golf Association. Mr. Bodenhamer oversees the conduct of the USGA’s national championships. He has served in a variety of administrative capacities in the golf industry. As a representative of the USGA, Mr. Bodenhamer will provide USA GOLF with expertise in both rules and competition.
Mrs. Daly-Donofrio is the Senior Vice President of Tour Operations for the LPGA. She brings experience as both an administrator and a player to the USA GOLF Board. At the LPGA, she is responsible for all aspects of player relations and competitions for the highest level of women’s professional golf competition. Prior to joining the staff of the LPGA, Mrs. Daly-Donofrio was a professional member of the LPGA from 1998 through 2009 during which time she won twice. During her tenure as a player, Mrs. Daly-Donofrio was elected as president of the LPGA Tour Executive Committee for the 2005 season. She is also a member of the Connecticut Sports Hall of Fame.
ALLISON DUNCAN (Athlete Director)
Allison Duncan has been an LPGA member since 2008 and is a member of the LPGA Executive Committee. Prior to joining the LPGA, Duncan played three full seasons on the Symetra Tour where she won twice in 2007. As an amateur, Duncan was an NCAA Honorable Mention All-American in 2004, and won three tournaments while at Michigan State University. A member of the 2002 Big Ten Conference Championship Team, Duncan was a three-time Big Ten All-Conference Selection from 2002-04. She was also a 2004 National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) All-American Scholar. She was a member of the victorious U.S. Team at the Women’s World University Golf Championship in 2002 and placed second individually.
KERRY HAIGH (Co-Chair)
Mr. Haigh is Managing Director of Championships and Business Development for the PGA of America where he is responsible for the overall operation, administration, golf course set-up and success or otherwise of the PGA Championship, Senior PGA Championship, Ryder Cup and Grand Slam of Golf. His other responsibilities include the managing of over 20 other PGA Club Professional, amateur and junior tournaments for the PGA of America throughout the year. The PGA of America is a membership organization of golf club and teaching professionals throughout the country. Mr. Haigh’s extensive involvement with championship golf at the grassroots level provides USA GOLF with direct exposure to golfers of every level.
PAUL GOYDOS (Athlete Director)
Paul Goydos is a two-time champion on the PGA TOUR and was just the fourth player in PGA TOUR history to shoot a round of 59 in an Official PGA TOUR event. After attending Long Beach State University, Goydos turned professional in 1989. He won the 1992 Ben Hogan Yuma Open on the Nationwide Tour during which time he also worked as a substitute teacher. He first qualified for the PGA TOUR in 1993 by finishing T13 in the PGA TOUR Qualifying Tournament. His first PGA TOUR victory came at the 1996 Bay Hill Invitational. Eleven years later, Goydos finished the 2007 Sony Open with three birdies in his last four holes for a final-round 67 and a one-shot victory. At the 2010 John Deere Classic, Goydos made history with a 12-under-par 59 in the first round on his way to a second-place finish. That same year, he was chosen along with Davis Love III, Jeff Sluman and Tom Lehman to be a captain's assistant for the 2010 U.S. Ryder Cup team. Goydos currently represents his fellow players as one of four Player Directors on the PGA TOUR Policy Board.
