CHRIS CLEMENTS
Head Coach, Men's National Team

Chris joined the U.S. Men's National Team program in December 2010 as an Assistant Coach while also serving as the Associate Head Coach for the Boston College Eagles in Boston, MA. Chris worked alongside Nick Conway for a full year before transitioning into the role as Head Coach in December 2011. Upon accepting the position as Head Coach, Chris and his wife Jess relocated to San Diego, CA.  

Before joining the BC Eagles program, Chris was the coach of the U18 and U16 New Zealand Boys teams, as well as the National Youth Talent Identifier for New Zealand hockey. 

Chris played for the Netherland's Premier League club, Klein Zwitserland and for the New Zealand Men's selection. He began playing at the premier level in 1997 with New Zealand's Canterbury Cavaliers and continued in 2004, in the Netherlands with Kampong and Klein Zwitserland. 


BEN MARAQUIN
Assistant Coach, Men's National Team

Ben Maruquin joined the U.S. Men’s National Program in 2010 as the Head Coach of the Under-21 Program while also leading the Ventura County High Performance Training Center, a job he undertook in 2006.  In 2012, Maruquin became the assistant coach of the Men’s Senior National Team. 

Maruquin was a part of the U.S. Men’s National Team that competed in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. He also won a Bronze medal at the 1995 Pan American Games in Argentina. He has accumulated over 200 caps at the international level.
